    Re: CPIII to Lakers

People still watch the NBA? Lockout or not the NBA hasn't been worth watching in long time, IMO. With teams trying to build an all star roster of talent, why don't they just disband the weaker/smaller market teams?

He's definitely gotten older, but for the role he needs to fill, I think he still has at least two more really solid years...he can still shoot and be that role player. Even if it isn't Fish himself, a role playing PG like Fish is all they need IMO with the team they currently have.

In a triangle offense I would agree with that more, but Brown isn't going to run the triangle. I would rather have someone who can help create at PG in his offense instead of someone roving and spotting up. Plus Fish has lost a step on D.

Cane, J-Rich is a free agent this year. They cant unload his contract, its already gone lol.

He might be a RFA, but no way Orlando matches any offer for him.

We see your point, but Orlando is giving up the best C in the game by miles. The reigning Defensive POY and still under 28 years old. His offensive game is becoming more polished by the day, and we know how efficient he is as a rebounder.

LAL would have had to given up Bynum and Odom plus Ebanks and picks for Howard and Turk. Orlando would almost guaranteed sent Hedo because of his terrible contract as you said, but Orlando isnt dead if they dont trade Hedo as they will likely use the amnesty clause on him.

Fish is a guy I definitely want on my team, but he can't start in today's NBA for a championship caliber team IMO. He is a great locker room presence and hits clutch shots, but as you said he has lost the ability to penetrate on great defenses and his defense has fell off quite a bit.

    Re: CPIII to Lakers

Lakers pull out of Paul talks, you might see him in LA though...as a Clipper, Odom is a Maverick now for their 2012 1st round pick and possibly other draft considerations, Odom asked for th trade too, Kobe is pissed that the Lakers wanted to trade him. Lakers are going to try hard for Howard now, which they would probably except no less then Gasol and Bynum, I see the Nets probably getting him...Lakers better hope thats not the case, it'll be a long season if they don't because they haven't gotten better so far, only worse after a season they get swept in the playoffs and lose their legendary coach.

    Other news:
Mike Bibby is now a Knick.
    David West is a Pacer.
Few other moves such as Kurt Thomas is in Portland now, Arenas/Billups now some unrestricted free agents that are up for grabs.
